Sony Vaio X Ultraportable Netbook

Sony has recently a new ultraportable netbook at the IFA in Berlin, the Sony Vaio X, which is considerably thinner than Apples MacBook Air. Although the specifications are limited at the moment, we do know that the Vaio X measures 0.55 inches thick, compared to the 0.76 inches of the MacBook Air, and it weighs in at just 1.5 pounds which is half the weight of the MacBook Air.
It will come with an Intel Atom processor, and Sony are saying that it will provide ‘All Day” battery life, thats about as much as we know so far on the specifications.
I hope Sony don’t price this like they did they Vaio P, which basically priced it out of the netbook market, if they are smart they will make it affordable and they could have a serious hit on their hands with the Vaio X.
